Michigan Works can put you on the path to a new career!

Are you ready?

At Michigan Works we like to say we are not just helping people find new jobs, we're actually helping them start a new career. Are you ready to begin your journey to a new career?

If you are unemployed or want to explore career options leading to better employment, you owe it to yourself to visit one of the One Stop Service Centers operated by SEMCA Michigan Works! When you arrive at one of our service centers you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff who will guide you on how to use one of our internet work stations to post your resume on Pure Michigan Talent Connect or conduct a job search.

“I could plan a new career pathway and be successful in an occupation that could support my family. Without the staff, especially people like (TAA Advisor) Diane Geister, and the support of TAA, I would not have transitioned from unemployed, unskilled worker to a successful pharmacy technician with the DMC.”
--Timothy Kalvans
