The Career Preparation System has put together a Career Planning Kit for students in our service area who need guidance in choosing a career. Inside each kit you will find a booklet from the Michigan Occupational Information System (MOIS) titled “Career Preparation.. Careers by Choice, not Chance...” which helps students discover what they enjoy doing and how this can direct them toward a fulfilling career.

Also included in the kit will be a work book from the Association for Career and Technical Education that has exercises designed to direct students towards careers that could be successful for them. We have also included important information about financial aid, projected future employment openings and where to go for training in a field that interests them.

The kits will be free, and mailed directly to homes that request a kit. To order kits please call
