More than 400 job seekers came to the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance’s (SEMCA) job fair held in April at the Woodhaven Community Center. Hosted by SEMCA in collaboration with State Representative Kathleen Law (D-Gibraltar), this was the first time SEMCA held a job fair in that community. |

“The Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) realizes that finding a job isn’t the easiest, especially at this time,” said Jack O’Reilly, executive director of SEMCA. “To maintain our goal of remaining a valuable resource to the community, we will continue to bring much needed resources directly to the community.” A number of organizations were on-hand to meet interested candidates and to discuss existing job vacancies. Participants included: Adecco, AFLAC, American Red Cross, Arcadia Staff Resources, Corporate Staffing, FEDEX, Kelly Services, KIMCO Corporation, Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe Bank & Trust, Oakwood Hospital, Quest, Inc., Guardian Guard Service, Michigan Department of Corrections, TNT Logistics and many others. |
