The Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) participated in three chamber business expos this year, the Monroe, Livonia, and Southern Wayne County events. SEMCA is a member of each of these chambers of commerce. The Livonia Business Expo has been described as one of Southeast Michigan’s premier business-to-business marketing event. The annual show was consolidated this year into a single day that began with a breakfast event and ended with the Taste Extravaganza. |

The Expo, sponsored by the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, was held at Burton Manor. Now in its seventeenth year, the Business Expo provides an inexpensive and unique opportunity to showcase products and services to over 3,500 attendees. Approximately 100 businesses participated at this event.
The Monroe Business Expo was held in February at the Frenchtown Mall. The mission of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce is to stimulate economic growth and enhance the quality of life in Monroe County. The chamber creates numerous forums for Monroe County businesses to network and is strategically positioned for business success between Detroit and Toledo. |

The Southern Wayne County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo has for the past eighteen years provided local companies with the opportunity to showcase their products and services, mingle with the areas’ most influential professionals and community leaders and expand their customer base. It is considered one of the biggest annual events in Southern Wayne County and attracts over 8,000 visitors each year. The Expo represents many major industries such as banking, retailers, manufacturers and health care providers. |
