The Information Center Publishes “Where to Turn Guide”

Where do you go when you are unemployed and need to see a doctor? What do you do about locating rent or utility assistance when you no longer get a paycheck? A new publication called the “Where to Turn Guide” available through The Information Center, Inc., can help find answers to these questions and others.

The “Where to Turn Guide” is packed with resources to help those who are unemployed or just looking for resources in Wayne and Monroe counties. Resource categories include unemployment information, job services, health care, financial assistance, and counseling services.br>

Published by The Information Center, Inc., the guide is available at the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) service centers. SEMCA sponsored the second printing of this helpful guide.

“Bringing people and services together is the primary mission of The Information Center, Inc., and our partnership with SBC Michigan for this project has given us one more method of achieving this goal,” said Ruth Sebaly, president of The Information Center, Inc.br>
