Web Site Update
Have you ever wondered what the pictures in Working Together would look like in color?
Well now you can see for yourself on the SEMCA web site!
At www.semca.org/news.htm. We currently have the Fall and Winter 2000 issues available. The Spring issue should be posted by mid-March (if you’re reading this it is done!). We hope to have other past issues posted in the near future.
Another new feature on-line is RFP’s (Request for Proposal) will now be available to print out from the web site. RFP’s must still be mailed into the SEMCA main offices for submission.
This initiative was launched with the Partnership for Adult Learning RFP in December. Look for future RFP’s to be available under Services (www.semca.org/services.htm).
Having RFPs on-line mandated that SEMCA have its Environmental Scan (www.semca.org/enviroscan.htm) available to web readers. It can now be found under our Education page (www.semca.org/education.htm).
In January we added a page about transportation (no longer operational as of 6/03) under the Welfare Reform page (www.semca.org/reform.htm). Go to the transportation page to view photos of our beautiful new vans and some of their drivers.
Look for information about our Food Stamp Employment & Training Program to be posted sometime in April.
We have lots of exciting things happening on the SEMCA web site. We hope that these changes will help make the jobs of our providers easier, and also help the people of our region discover how SEMCA can help them improve their lives.
If you have any comments or suggestions about our web site, you can either submit them directly to SEMCA from our web site at : www.semca.org/contact.htm, or e-mail your thoughts to wendy.harless@semca.org.
